Where can i find a variety of fabric samples?

Im doing a school project for a fashion runway, so i have to design all the clothing and i need clothe swatches to show what kind of texture each dress is. I only need a little piece of fabric(1*1 inch) for every kind of fabric. Where can i get them without spending a lot of money?
